About Philippians 4:13

Paul wrote Philippians while imprisoned, partly to thank the church at Philippi for a gift they had sent him. Verse 13 closes a short passage about contentment (4:10–13): he has learned to be content with plenty and with little, well fed and hungry. So “all things” in context means every circumstance, including hard ones, rather than every ambition. The strength is Christ’s, given for whatever the day holds. That is why it works on a lock screen: a reminder for ordinary difficult days, not a promise of always winning.
